THE NIGHT BEFORE
We are meeting the night before for dinner and drinks, this is a fun opportunity for everyone to socialise and enjoy. There is no pressure or expectation to be there for those wanting to explore Liverpool.
THURSDAY 15th MAY 2025
LIVERPOOL - EDINBURGH
7:15am Departure**
Guests shall meet at Liverpool Lime Street Station at 7:00am in order to meet the Northern Belle luxury train.
On the journey to Edinburgh a 3 course brunch shall be served along with tea, coffee and alcoholic beverages.
THURSDAY 15th MAY 2025
THE WEDDING
Upon arrival in Edinburgh guests shall use the Market Street exit and transfer to a Charlotte Travel coach for the 20 minute journey to Fingal Edinburgh, a vessel owned by the Royal Yacht Britannia Trust.
The ceremony in the ship's ballroom will be followed by a drinks reception, complete with canapes and speeches.
We have approximately 3hrs on the ship. A bar is available for additional drinks and guests will have time to explore the vessel including the iconic engine room.
THURSDAY 15th MAY 2025
EDINBURGH - LIVERPOOL
RETURN 11:30pm**
Having returned to Edinburgh Waverley Station by Charlotte Travel coach, guests re-join the train for 6 courses of fine dining as we make our way back to Liverpool, arriving back at 11:30pm.
**as a charter train, delays may be expected to allow scheduled services to have priority. THE TRAIN WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DELAYED PASSENGERS.

One of the world's most luxurious trains.
Evoking the opulence of the Belle trains of the 1930s, we shall travel in one of seven beautifully detailed carriages.
Your journey will include a champagne reception, caviar blinis, sommelier wine selection, the famous Northern Belle cheese board with port, Fortnum & Mason tea, and memorable gift.

DRESS CODE
The Northern Belle operates a strict dress code of formal attire that matches the opulence of this train. As such, we ask our guests to wear their "Extravaganza" best in keeping with the black tie code onboard.
ACCESS
There is no accessible bathroom onboard however, there are step free toilets at either end of the carriage, there are two steps to board the train from platform level.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
The menu can be found below, guests have selected their pre-order via google form. The train is working to meet dietary requirements where possible. Any issues or questions, speak to Ben or Lorenzo.
CONFETTI
Please note that confetti is NOT allowed onboard the Northern Belle luxury train however, Network Rail has granted us permission to throw biodegradable confetti on the platform at Edinburgh Waverley Station prior to the return journey to Liverpool.
THE VENUES
FINGAL EDINBURGH
A luxury floating hotel permanently berthed in close proximity to it's "sister ship", the Royal Yacht Britannia.
This floating hotel, with all the glamour and style of a super-yacht but the old-world elegance of a transatlantic liner, is regularly voted the UK's No 1 hotel by Trip Advisor and carries 2 AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence.
The vessel's ballroom, located in the bow, provides the perfect backdrop for both the wedding ceremony and drinks reception. Guests can walk around the open decks and peer into the once bustling engine room.

ACCESS
The vessel is fully accessible via a lift, a step free gangway provides a ramp to board the vessel.

ACCOMMoDATION
While we appreciate not everyone may wish to stay, accommodation in Liverpool for the night before and the night of the wedding can be booked at a reduced rate being arranged by Ben & Lorenzo.
LIVERPOOL CENTRAL TRAVELODGE
A 7 minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street Station, the Travelodge provides great access to both Liverpool city centre and transport connections.
14th - 16th May (2 nights) X 20 Rooms
20 Double rooms with king size beds have been reserved, please inform Ben & Lorenzo if you would like one of these rooms. If you require an upgrade to an Access room, family room or twin room please let them know. Full payment required to Ben & Lorenzo.

PARKING
Discounted parking is available nearby at Q-Park Dale Street (L2 2HJ). Follow the pre-book instructions and enter code: TLQP30 to receive the 30% discount. Upon arrival enter the vehicle registration and the ANPR system will open the barrier
Alternative discounted parking is also available nearby at Q-Park Queen Square (L1 1RH) at a rate of £12 per 24 hour period. Follow the pre-book instructions and enter code: TLQP30 to receive the 30% discount. Upon arrival enter the vehicle registration and the ANPR system will open the barrier.
Parking can also be found at NCP 3 Vernon St, Liverpool L2 2AY at a rate of £14.95 per 24 hour period. There is a voucher discount available at the hotel reception.
There is also limited parking for blue badge holders outside the hotel on OId Haymarket, Merseyside, Liverpool, L1 6ER
ACCESS
Accessible rooms make travel more comfortable for every guest. Please note that the accessible rooms at this location may be located higher than the ground floor, but two lifts are available. Please contact the hotel if you have any questions and let us know how we can assist you.

CAPTURING OUR DAY
"Official" photographers
Given the limitations on capacity we have asked specific members of our wedding party to act as photographers in order to capture the memories of this special day. We want to thank them for their generosity in offering their skills and time to help us out in this way.
Communal Wedding Album
With most people also carrying cameras via their phones, we ask you to video and photograph the day from your perspective. These can be uploaded to our WedShoots album, simply download the WedShoots app, select "I'm a Guest" and then scan the QR code to join the album group.
Live Stream
For those unable to join us on our special day we will be live streaming the ceremony and speeches via a Facebook Live, more details to follow.
Guestbook
We will be providing a physical Guestbook at the Fingal for our guests to leave messages in support of our special day. However, for those wanting to leave a digital message there is also the option to do so via our HITCHED portal.

YOUR PRESENCE IS THE ONLY PRESENT WE NEED
We want to share this magical experience, and the celebration of our marriage, with our loved ones. That is all the gift we need.
While not expected, those who do wish to give something may contribute with information on our honeymoon fund and gifting on the button or web link below. If you don't feel comfortable using the website below that is also not a problem and alternatives could be discussed. We would prefer not to receive cards or gifts on the day due to restrictions of space onboard the train.
